DAYE TO THRIVE RETREAT

Healer's Sanctuary

You hold space for others. This is your space to be held.

You spend so much of your life caring for other people.

You listen. You guide. You advocate. You teach. You help people move through grief, change, healing, conflict, growth, and uncertainty.

And even when you are accomplished, capable, and deeply committed to your work, you may still be quietly exhausted.

This is a place to set some of that down.

For six days and five nights, you are invited into a small, restorative retreat created for the people who are usually supporting everyone else. There is no need to perform, lead, teach, or hold everything together here.

Just permission to simply be. That is enough.

A Place to Come Back to Yourself.

The Daye To Thrive Retreat is a healing-centered sanctuary for people whose work, leadership, caregiving, or community role asks them to carry a great deal for others.

It is not a productivity retreat. It is not a networking event. It is not a place where you will be asked to become a new version of yourself.

You were never broken.

This experience is about rest, reconnection, joy, and returning to the wisdom you already carry.

Guests may arrive depleted, carrying, and disconnected. Over the course of the retreat, the nervous system begins to settle. There is room to become present, open, and connected again. The intention is that you leave restored, reconnected, and renewed, with practical ways to keep caring for yourself after you return home.

Healing isn't a destination. It's an ongoing practice of returning to yourself.

Who this is for

For this retreat, a healer is not limited to a licensed practitioner. A healer is anyone whose professional, community, cultural, relational, or caregiving role regularly asks them to support the well-being, dignity, recovery, growth, safety, or belonging of others.

This is a women-centered retreat, with Black women at the heart of the experience and the imagery. Men who genuinely resonate with the work are welcome. We simply lead with the women who have so often been expected to carry everything.

You do not need a specific title or credential to belong here. If you regularly hold emotional, physical, cultural, spiritual, or practical space for others, and you are ready to receive some of that care yourself, there may be room for you here.

Healing First. Expansion Follows.

Daye To Thrive begins with a simple belief: people do not heal through policies and procedures alone. They heal when they feel seen, heard, and safe.

Success on the outside does not always mean someone is well on the inside. You can be skilled, respected, and deeply committed while still running on empty.

The retreat supports the person behind the work first. As the body settles and the pressure eases, other things may return naturally: clarity, creativity, confidence, purpose, and the energy to keep serving without disappearing inside the service.

Nothing here is about fixing you. You already carry your own wisdom. Sometimes life and constant responsibility simply disconnect us from it.

The Five Dimensions of Healer Well-Being

Every part of the retreat is connected to one of five dimensions of healer well-being. They are not a packed agenda or five separate tracks. They are the meaning behind the experience, helping us protect both intention and spaciousness.

Physical Restoration

Can my nervous system actually settle?

Breathwork, gentle movement, sound, nature, nourishing meals, and protected rest create space for the body to stand down from constant alert.

Emotional Capacity

Who holds me while I hold everyone else?

Reflection, community circles, emotional release, and being cared for give you room to set down what you have been carrying.

Joy and Creativity

When did I last feel playful, expressive, and alive?

Voice, song, dance, storytelling, celebration, and simple moments of delight help joy return as nourishment, not as a reward for finishing the work.

Boundaries and Sustainability

How do I keep doing this without disappearing?

Capacity reflection, energy mapping, and practical boundary work help you name what is sustainable in work and life.

Purpose and Alignment

Is my work still mine, and is it still aligned with who I am?

Life mapping, values reflection, and gentle visioning reconnect you with the purpose behind your work without turning the retreat into a business mastermind.

You will not only hear about these ideas. You will have opportunities to experience them and carry simple practices home, so the care does not end when the retreat does.

For more than twenty years, Helena has worked across human resources, DEI, nonprofit leadership, workplace wellness, and community-centered care. She has sat with people through change, conflict, burnout, transition, and grief, and she has seen how often the people holding an organization or community together are the last ones to receive care.

Helena is also a vocalist and wellness advocate. Her work brings together sound, reflection, community care, purpose, and the belief that people thrive when they are treated as whole human beings.

This retreat is personal to her. It grows from a desire to create the kind of space many helpers rarely receive: a place where you can feel seen, heard, safe, and supported without having to earn it.
